MiAlgae delivers biotechnology solutions for the pet food and aquaculture feed industries.
Our process uses co-products from distilleries to grow omega-3 rich algae, an ideal ingredient to add to pet food and aquaculture feed.
Our mission is to be the world leader in biotechnology for good, with an initial focus on improving food security and reducing the impact of humanity on the planet through sustainable Omega-3 production.
By using co-products from the food and drink sector as feedstocks to grow our Omega-3 rich microalgae, we are eliminating the reliance on wild-caught fish as a source of Omega-3, whilst reducing CO2 emissions and preventing the loss of ocean ecosystems.
Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) is an Omega-3 fatty acid. This anti-inflammatory essential fatty acid is well known for its benefits including; supporting growth and development of the brain, improving heart health and visual function. DHA is also good for the joints to enhance mobility and supports healthier fur and skin.
